Last Weekend (28.-29.05.2016) the first part of the German championships took place at a gravel lake near the city Pirna in Saxon. On Saturday and Sunday the weather conditions at the lake were perfect for under water orienteering. Sunshine and temperatures of 25 – 30 degrees Celsius allowed a smooth run of the competitions. The visibility in the water was around 2-3 meters and an overall 81 athletes including youth, adults and masters participated in the competition. Even Czech athletes of Blue Star Prag attended the German championship. The Events of the weekend were the M-Course and the Star-Course on Saturday and the Team Event on Sunday.
